My Personal Reiki Journey

In 2015, I thought I was in the prime of my life. I had three promotions in less than two years, a healthy beautiful baby girl, a loving husband, and I was at my best physical health; regardless of all this, an argument with someone caused me to go into clinical depression. I was later diagnosed with bipolar disorder and was taking mood stabilizers, antidepressants, and anti-anxiety medication. I no longer felt like myself with all the medications I took. After speaking to a friend about this, she recommended that I schedule a Reiki session to somehow help me with my anxiety. This became the best advice I could have ever gotten and what started my personal journey.

My+Reiki+Journey

I was a bit nervous going into the Reiki session; I had no knowledge of this form of healing. The practitioner was very accommodating and made me feel more comfortable after she explained what Reiki is and what to expect during the session. During my first two sessions, I experienced waves of anxiety flushing through my body. Surprisingly, after the sessions were over, I felt very calm and light. I started going for Reiki sessions regularly and soon I started to discover more about myself and my innate ability to channel energy healing and increase my intuitive abilities through meditation. I realize now, that my depression and anxiety were more related to my empathic nature than to a chemical imbalance, and as I have explored myself more, I am able to cope with these emotions and no longer need to be medicated. Reiki brought clarity, eased my anxiety, allowed me to discover myself, and helped my overall mental, physical, and spiritual well-being. I have found my calling as a Reiki Master and Intuitive Energy Healer. While each person’s experiences with Reiki are different it is my goal and honor to help others in conjunction with medical or other treatment to achieve overall physical, mental, and spiritual well-being.
